CHICAGO – Four separate shootings on Chicago’s West and South sides wounded at least seven children, including three cases that appear accidental, police said Saturday.

Three of the minors were wounded in a shooting at an apartment complex Friday night on the city’s South Side.

State Rep. Allen Skillicorn met with the Northwest Herald Editorial Board on Friday to discuss statewide issues ahead of the March 17 primary election, where he’ll face off against McHenry County Board member Carolyn Schofield.

Greyhound, the nation’s largest bus carrier, has said it does not like the agents coming on board, but it has nevertheless permitted them, claiming that federal law demanded it.
