Stories Related to Cary-grove High School To Resume Classes Wednesday

Classes will resume Wednesday at Cary-Grove High School, where water has been restored and is safe for use following a boil order that was issued Monday. High School District 155 Director of Communications Shannon Podzimek sent an email to Cary-Grove High School parents Tuesday confirming that school would resume with its usual schedule on Wednesday. “Due to the circumstances of the school closure, we will not be required to make up the school day at the end of the school year,” Podzimek said. A boil order was issued Monday night for some residents in Cary after a water main break near True Value Manufacturing. The water main break caused surrounding schools to close and also led to low water pressure or a complete loss of water for properties in the areas south and west of downtown Cary, officials said. The boil order is expected to remain in effect until at least Wednesday, Cary Director of Public Works Eric Morimoto previously said.
