SOUTH BARRINGTON – A Carpentersville woman whose car rolled over early July 4 turned herself in Thursday to face charges of driving under the influence, police said. A Crystal Lake man, Delbert "Gordon" Gandy, was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle while he was trying to help her. Jenny Duran-Sosa, 21, of the 100 block of Golfview Lane, Carpentersville, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a news release from the South Barrington Police Department.
