A car slammed into a northeast Colorado Springs home Monday morning after the driver missed a turn, a spokesman for Colorado Springs Fire Department said. The female driver, beloved to be in her 60s, was heading west on Dublin when she drove through an intersection, slamming into the garage of a corner plot home at 6390 Lemonwood Drive at 11:15 a.m. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, a fire department spokesman said.
