A routine traffic stop in Liberty County sparked a police chase that ended when the car crashed into a Cleveland High School fence, officials said. Nolasco got out of the car then quickly got back in when the deputy returned to the patrol car to run a records check, officials said. Other agencies, including Cleveland police and the Texas Department of Public Safety, joined the chase that reached speeds of 100 mph, officials said.
