KENT — Kent Resident Trooper Andrew Fisher warns residents that last weekend the town of Litchfield was hit with a wave of car break-ins. The break-ins took place during the late nigh. In all cases the cars were not locked. Various items were stolen from the cars, as well as unsecured items left outside. The CT State Police remind everyone to lock their cars; hide any items of value in the car; put away outdoor items of value like chain saws; and if they see something suspicious or odd, report it immediately to 911.
