CANTON: The home of state high school swim meets and numerous other regional competitions is getting some upgrades.Canton City School’s C.T. Branin Natatorium will receive a new scoreboard as the result of a $240,000 donation from the Timken Foundation. The donation also will pay for replacement of the swim bridge, a platform that can span the water and divide the pool.The Canton Board of Education acknowledged the donation when it met on Monday.In other action, the board named the east wing of the STEAMM Academy at Hartford after the late Marian Williams Crenshaw, who taught music in the district for 46 years.
