Buzz Builds Around 2013 Scripps National Spelling Bee

Today, the contenders face two rounds of direct-elimination spelling words. No more than fifty students who correctly spell both their words will make it to the event's next round. Those semi-finalists will be selected on the basis of scores they obtained on a written exam administered on Tuesday.
