<p>Jeb Bush, who recently slashed staff salaries and fired consultants amid mounting financial woes, is planning a major Washington, D.C., fundraising event that organizers hope will help fill his campaign’s depleted coffers.</p><p>Those involved with the planning of the event, which is to be held on the evening of Dec. 3 at the home of former Ambassador Boyden Gray, said it would be one of Bush’s largest Washington fundraisers since he formally launched his candidacy last summer.
