Brush Fire In Dupage County Preserve Comes Within 200-300 Feet Of Homes

Firefighters from four departments worked together to battle a brush fire in the east branch of the DuPage County forest preserve that got within 200 to 300 feet of homes in Glendale Heights homes off of Liberty Drive, fire officials said Sunday night. Chris Wilson, a Battalian Chief at the Bloomingdale Fire Protection District, said when first responders arrived on the scene at 6:30 p.m.
