PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Brown University has canceled a plan to display a house that once belonged to civil-rights icon Rosa Parks."The university recently learned from the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development that the Detroit house that was to be the focal point of the programming and an exhibition celebrating Rosa Parks and civil rights is the source of a current dispute," according to a statement from Brown and its Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice.
