Brookfield Man Faces Felony Charges In Domestic Case

BROOKFIELD — A man is free on a $100,000 bond after being arrested on assault and strangulation charges. Police said they were called to a Brookfield home about 2 a.m. Saturday for a report of a domestic violence incident. After a short investigation, they charged Ryan Mastrogiannis, 31, with second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct. Police said the victim was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Mastrogiannis was released the same day after posting bail.
