According to a statement released by the police department, Michael Carroll, 27, of Vista Drive, was charged with operating under the influence, disobeying an officer’s signal and driving on the wrong side of the road for an incident that occurred on Dec. 1 The officer radioed emergency crews further up the street who were working at the accident scene to expect a driver who was attempting to elude police.
