Bristol Police Chief Steps Down

BRISTOL -- The Bristol police chief is stepping down.Josue D. Canario, who has headed the department for 11 years, submitted his intent to retire on Friday, according to Town Administrator Steven Contente.Contente said Canario would be on voluntary medical leave until the effective date of his retirement on May 9."I wish to thank Chief Josue D.
