Bridgewater State Food Worker Denies Assault

BROCKTON — A food service worker at Bridgewater State University has pleaded not guilty to charges he assaulted a female student.The Enterprise reports that 21-year-old Michael Tavares was arraigned Tuesday with indecent assault, battery, and other related charges in Brockton District Court.Prosecutors say the student and Tavares began texting after they met in the dining hall where he worked.
