Breaking: Lockheed Martin To Buy Sikorsky Aircraft For $9 Billion

Lockheed Martin announced Monday morning that it would buy Sikorsky Aircraft from United Technologies for $9 billion, CNBC reports. Lockheed is the largest arms supplier to the Pentagon. Sikorsky makes the Black Hawk helicopter. The deal represents about $6 billion in sales and would impact about 17,000 employees.
