The Wildcats overcame a slow start in their season opener to run away with the game thanks to a 34-9 second quarter advantage. Avery Seter scored 16 of his 20 points in the second quarter for La Center. The Wildcats’ Hunter Ecklund led all scorers with 24 points and had seven assists and seven steals.
