    Then you can refer to them as the top, middle, and bottom paragraphs. It can even be gradable, though this is perhaps the least likely option. If you imagine a page of writing, the first and last lines could be at said to be at the "very top" and at the "very bottom" of the page, but there is also content that is near top or bottom.
