Bond Set For Mchenry Man Charged In Weekend Police Standoff

A judge set bond at $30,000 Monday for a man police said refused to leave his McHenry home after threatening to shoot someone Saturday night. William B. Cheatham, 55, remained at the McHenry County Jail on Monday. He will need to post $3,000 bail to be released. Cheatham was appointed a public defender to represent him only at Monday's bond setting.
