Women should have the option of taking their own test samples for cervical cancer screening, an influential health panel said Tuesday.
Draft recommendations from the U. S. Preventive Services Task Force are aimed at getting more people screened and spreading the word that women can take their own vaginal samples to check for cancer-causing HPV.
Women in their 20s should still get a Pap test every three years.

The contract year for Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland got off to such a promising start, with him punching the ball out to force a fumble on running back Travis Etienne at the goal line to turn the tides of the opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Since, it has been a disappointment for the young safety with so much potential who Miami took in the second round of the 2021 draft.
This was a key season for Holland, entering the fourth and final year of his rookie deal.
