Bomb Maker Arrested On Heroin Charge In Stamford

STAMFORD-A former Greenwich resident just released from federal prison on bomb making charges, was picked up in Stamford on Wednesday on a heroin possession charge. Capt. Richard Conklin said Nicholas Lahines, 43, now of Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, was observed by Narcotics and Organized Crime squad members on patrol rolling through a stop sign on the West side near Stillwater Avenue.
