Two days after kayakers paddling the Clinton River first reported seeing a dead body in the water police confirmed the discovery of a person's body in the waterway Monday afternoon.The body was located in the water around 1:30 p.m. behind a private home along Utica Road adjacent to Clinton River Park, off Clinton River Road, just west of Schoenherr Road.
