BOBBY HARRISON When Hinds Community College President Clyde Muse lived in sparsely populated Benton County in north Mississippi in the early 1930s, much closer to Memphis than Jackson where he later would exert so much influence, the world was not so connected. Moving, go away to college or just striking out to make a life, as we all ultimately do, were much bigger deals. The roads were not so convenient, vehicles no so dependable, telephones not as handy and the Internet….
