TRACY — In a rare turn of events, a candidate for California’s 5th District Senate seat has switched races.  Bob Elliott announced on Monday that he has decided to run for the 10th U.S. Congressional District seat in the 2020 election instead of seeking to replace Cathleen Galgiani in the California state Senate.The 10th Congressional District seat is currently held by Josh Harder, D-Turlock, who defeated Republican incumbent Jeff Denham in 2018.
