Australian filmmaker Mark Hartley is cornering the market on out-there genre cinema. The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation!, exploitation films made in the Philippines (“Machete Maidens Unleashed!”) and now a film on the Cecil B. DeMilles of ’80s trash cinema, Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus, two Israeli-born cousins who set out to make their mark in Hollywood.
