In Pokemon TCG Pocket, there are not just cards to collect, there’s a plethora of items and cosmetics you can pick up either via the Shop or by completing in-game challenges. Among these are Coins, digital versions of what you would use in the physical TCG, use in the heat of battle. There are a bunch to acquire but here, we’ll be focusing on how to get the Mew Coin in Pokemon TCG Pocket so you can get to flipping this mythical-themed Coin. Pokemon TCG Pocket Mew Coin: How to unlock If you want a shiny new Mew Coin to add to your collection, maybe to pair with a Mew ex deck, you will have to put some time (or money) into the game. This is because to unlock the Mew Coin you must complete the aptly named ‘Use pack stamina to open 60 Mythical Island booster packs’ Themed Mission which, unsurprisingly, requires opening 60 Mythical Island Themed Booster Packs. This has to be done with Pack Stamina too so if you’re using the completely free to play route, you’ll only be able to open 2 per day, meaning the mission will be wrapped up in 30 days. If you don’t mind spending a few bucks though, you can accelerate the process dramatically. First, if you pick up the Premium Pass, that maximum of 2 increases to 3, taking the number of days to completion down to 20. If you’re not satisfied with this either, you can always spend your Pack Hourglasses, and even Poke Gold, to recover your Stamina faster and get the job done much sooner. As for the other rewards that you receive alongside the Mew Coin, you’ll also get the Mythical Island Mew Playmat, Mythical Island Mew Card Sleeve, and Mythical Island Mew Cover, so utilizing your stored resources could be worth it to you.
