Little traces of snow were still on the ground Thursday evening as Wednesday’s snowfall melted away. Lancaster County, as well as some upper state and midland counties, were under a winter storm warning and winter advisory Wednesday. Snow accumulation ranged from 3 inches in Indian Land to a half-inch in Lancaster to 2 inches in Elgin. Darren Player, director of Lancaster County Fire Rescue, said Wednesday was one of their easiest snow days.
