Denver police are still seeking information about the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old man in Capitol Hill one year ago. Lyle “Alex” Kerr was in a vehicle near East Seventh Avenue and North Lincoln Street around 9 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2024, when someone approached and shot him and a second man in the vehicle. The suspect fled on foot, according to the Denver Police Department.

Dana Crawford, a developer and preservationist who single-handedly did more than anyone to save Denver’s historic architecture, died Thursday night at age 93.
