LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Benfica took the sole lead of the Portuguese league from FC Porto on Sunday with a 1-0 victory at Beira Mar thanks to Oscar Cardozo's first-half goal. Benfica remains unbeaten after 21 rounds and moved two points clear of Porto after the defending champions drew 0-0 at Sporting Lisbon on Saturday. Cardozo scored a spot kick in the 16th minute after Beira Mar defender Hugo Fernandes had used his hand to stop a pass destined for Benfica striker Lima.
