I don’t know why conservative culture warriors are so triggered by a Barbie movie but then again, this is the same crowd that had a MAGA meltdown when Hasbro changed the name of Mr. Potato Head. I’ve long stopped trying to figure out why they think their perpetually seething hate for most of America promotes any kind of “family values.” That said, the award for the stupidest, most useless version of right-wing virtue signaling has to go to Ben Shapiro for making a video of himself burning Barbie and Ken dolls. Unfortunately for Ben, Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn and more, their big temper tantrums over a movie no one is forcing them or anyone else to see is doing boffo at the box office.
