Belgrade Man Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting 11-year-old Girl

AUGUSTA — A Belgrade man entered conditional guilty pleas Monday to charges that he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl in a portable outhouse in a parking lot in North Belgrade the night of June 3-4, 2015. The guilty pleas from Travis R. Gerrier, 23, who more recently lived in Carmel and Dixmont, are conditional because he plans to challenge earlier rulings where he was found competent to stand trial and where a judge refused to suppress a confession Gerrier made to a state police detective that night.
