Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak is ready to open its new Pediatric Emergency Center on Monday.The center covers 9,500 square feet and has 16 private rooms that are twice the size of rooms in the former area. Three rooms have special features for the safety of behavioral health patients."We know children can get stressed or scared when they come to the hospital," said Kelly Levasseur, D.
