Two local banks robbed this month might be part of a spree of holdups committed by the same man, law enforcement officials said. Surveillance footage from recent bank robberies in Cary, Huntley, Arlington Heights and now Streamwood show what appears to be the same man, donning a black wig and lengthy beard, demanding money from tellers. The FBI has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s capture. The most recent robbery was Wednesday night at a grocery store in Streamwood. The man, his face obscured by a black beard and aviator-style sunglasses, can be seen in security camera footage leaning over the counter at a TCF Bank branch just after 6 p.m.
