BBC Three has had a delightful morning live-tweeting the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But as huge crowds gathered along the route to Windsor Castle to celebrate the royal nupitals, the online channel took a moment to look back across the Atlantic and troll Donald Trump. “Just saying,” the BBC Three account tweeted, along with side-by-side pictures of Windsor Castle audience and the famously paltry 2017 inauguration crowd on the National Mall in Washington, DC. just saying ¯_(ツ)_/¯ pic.twitter.com/1zoOGFKeU3 — BBC Three (@bbcthree) May 19, 2018 Shoutout to Sean Spicer, who, seventeen months ago, declared Trump’s crowd “the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period.” Nope.

What a surprise. Trump's former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who did all she could to destroy the department the last time he was in office, loves the new unqualified pick of Linda McMahon. DeVos, who at one time was apparently sane enough to realize it was time to jump ship after the insurrection and actually discussed the possibility of invoking the 25th amendment to remove Trump from office after he unleashed his minions to US Capitol-- is back to being a full MAGA supporter. This has to be one of the more pathetic attempts to pretend to "both sides" the sexual assault accusations against Hegseth and Trump that I've seen in quite a while. I'm not sure why CNN thought they were doing their viewers any sort of favor by bringing on Trump apologist Tricia McLaughlin for this segment, and they really do need to get their act together with who is invited on as a guest. Trump employees who are willing to lie for him as part of their job, or in the hope of future employment do nothing but misinform the public. Sadly, that was once again the case during the segment above.
