Baylor safety Orion Stewart was named Big 12 defensive player of the week on Monday after his performance against SMU on Saturday.The senior Stewart recorded eight tackles and two interceptions, one of which he returned 33 yards for a touchdown.Stewart leads the Big 12 in interceptions with the two. It's good for a tie for fourth-most in the country.He is the first Bear to win the recognition since defensive tackle Andrew Billings was named defensive player of the week in November 2015.Twitter: @AdamGrosbard
