Batman Beyond Movie Starring Michael Keaton Was Planned...if The Flash Did Well

A long, long, long awaited live action adaptation of the animated series Batman Beyond starring Michael Keaton was being planned...but it all depended on how well The Flash did at the box office. According to filmmaker and known comic book lover Kevin Smith, the Batman Beyond project was dependent on the response to The Flash, with the director revealing that the son of Batman producer Michael Uslan revealed to him that a Batman Beyond movie was in early development.
