STAMFORD—A longer than anticipated operation to move the historic Hoyt Barnum House to North Stamford is holding up traffic on High Ridge Road Sunday morning. Starting around 5 a.m. and initially projected to take two hours, the two pieces of the house were still making their way up Bedford Street and High Ridge Road on motorized dollies at about one mile per hour, according to Libby Carlson, a spokeswoman for Mayor David Martin.
