A suspected fuel thief crashed into Moffat County Sheriff’s Office deputies during a vehicle chase Thursday morning, leaving three with minor injuries.
Geomar Gomez-Hernandez, 35, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault on a peace officer, vehicular eluding causing injury and criminal mischief, all felonies, as well as resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, theft and reckless driving, according to deputies.
Craig police tried to pull Gomez-Hernandez while responding to a report of fuel theft at a gas station at about 11 a.m.
