In a legal dispute that is nearly identical to a case playing out in LoDo, a local landlord is accusing 7-Eleven of allowing one of its most prominent Boulder stores to become a homeless hangout, drug market and crime scene, harming the landlord’s leasing efforts.
Urban Frontier, a Denver firm, owns the former Flatirons Theatre at 1091 13th St., near the University of Colorado. The building is now a 9,300-square-foot retail space.
It is also “a magnet for homeless people,” according to a lawsuit that Urban Frontier filed against 7-Eleven’s corporate office on Jan.
Six more Denver-area Walgreens will shutter as the national chain continues to consolidate.

DALLAS (AP) — President Donald Trump has ordered the release of thousands of classified governmental documents about the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which has fueled conspiracy theories for decades.
The executive order Trump signed Thursday also aims to declassify the remaining federal records relating to the assassinations of Sen.
Denver skiers and snowboarders looking to shred in city limits can make the trek to the Ruby Hill Rail Yard starting Sunday to try out newly designed rails, boxes and configurations.
The free urban terrain park, which is a joint venture between Denver Parks and Recreation and Winter Park Resort, will be open until March as long as the weather cooperates, city officials said in a news release Thursday.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston announced that Lufthansa German Airlines will operate the Airbus A380s on nonstop flights between DIA and Munich, one of the growing numbers of international flights.
