LAGOS, Nigeria — Maritime authorities in Nigeria say a Liberia-flagged cargo ship exploded near Lagos, killing at least three crew members from India. Lami Tumaka, a spokeswoman for the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, said late Thursday that the explosion happened Sunday off the coast. Tumaka said that the MT Jacksonville exploded after leaking an unknown substance into the water. Tumaka said the vessel had 15 crew members.
