AURORA — The Aurora Police Department has cleared the King Soopers off S. Peoria Street after a bomb threat was made Monday afternoon. During a press conference, Lieutenant Carrigan Bennett said a store employee called 911 around 3:15 p.m. after the customer service desk received a bomb threat. The threat was not specific, but the caller mentioned there were “approximately five bombs potentially placed outside the store,” according to Bennett. Authorities evacuated the grocery store and its parking lot out of an abundance of caution.
