Austin Film Society To Honor Douglas Mcgrath, Meat Loaf At Texas Hall Of Fame Awards

The Austin Film Society announces the honorees for its 12th Annual Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards March 8, including actor and native Texan Barry Corbin ("No Country for Old Men," "Urban Cowboy"), filmmaker Douglas McGrath from Midland (the Oscar-winning "Bullets Over Broadway" script and the WGA nominated "Emma") and Dallas-born musician Meat Loaf (whose film credits include "Fight Club" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"). Additional honorees are still to be announced. Austin musicians Nakia and Suzanna Choffel will appear at the Awards show, along with Grammy-winning Latin funk orchestra Grupo Fantasma.
