Attorney Withdraws Foia Complaint Against Board

STAMFORD — An attorney and city representative withdrew his Freedom of Information Act complaint against the Board of Finance Monday after he said it agreed to an open-government training session. Kieran Ryan argued in his May complaint to the state FOIA commission that the board violated open-meeting rules by discussing in private the settlement terms for suits resulting from the 2011 Christmas Day fire that killed five people in Shippan.
