This week, Arizona State coach Herb Sendek said the Sun Devils were scrimmaging twice a week, an effort to put as many players in different situations. That carried over to Friday's opener, the coach trying out different parts, using nine players in the game's first eight minutes, 10 in the first half. The conclusion: Outside of a few players, Sendek - despite the 96-61 over Maryland-Baltimore County -- isn't sure what he has with this team.
