The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 44 in Daytona Beach will offer a two-night basic boating class from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 27 and 28 at its building, 355 Basin St., in the Halifax Harbor Marina. The class will be taught by certified Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors who will instruct on boating safety, rules of the road, basic navigation, anchoring, docking, fueling, trailering, and required federal and state safety equipment and common emergencies.
