Jeff Daurer, operations support consultant at Community High School District 155, said contractors only have 55 working days to complete about $14 million in capital improvement projects this year. This is impossible without the cooperation of district administrators, especially since theater camps, athletic programs and other student activities still are taking place over the summer, Daurer said. “There is a lot of give and take, a lot of flexibility and a lot of planning that goes into this,” Daurer said. However, Daurer said the District 155 work substantially should be completed by Aug.
