Appeals Court To Hear Grave Desecration Arguments

The court will hear arguments Tuesday on whether a lower court erred when it decided that General Pipeline Construction company desecrated dozens of graves when it built a road through Crystal Block Cemetery as part of a pipeline project. Jurors ruled in October 2012 that General Pipeline, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based EQT Corporation, should pay $900,000 in damages to relatives of those buried in the cemetery.
