The Dolphins are trying to look ahead after Thursday’s punishing 30-17 loss at Green Bay.
Playoff hopes are razor-thin for the Dolphins (5-7) after losing to the Packers.
But coach Mike McDaniel said the Dolphins, who have made back-to-back playoff appearances, will still talk playoffs even as they fight negative narratives that are promoted by their own players.
“I think it’s an understated thing that I bring up from time to time just because I try to address things that I know that come up in conversations,” McDaniel said of the Dolphins’ playoff hopes.
But the day-to-day focus remains the next opponent, in this case, the struggling New York Jets next weekend.
Players haven’t given up postseason hope, although they admit there’s almost no wiggle room with five games remaining.
“A 10-7 record can still get us there,” defensive lineman Zach Sieler said, suggesting the Dolphins can win every remaining game.
“I think we can still get to the top.”
Sieler is right.

Not a space where you can comfortably lay on the ground and do some deep breathing exercises to calm yourself.
What if there were a pill that would instead induce that kind of calm breathing for you?
