ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick's sprained left knee will be re-evaluated at the end of the week. The Angels announced Tuesday they wouldn't immediately put Kendrick on their disabled list, but recalled newly acquired infielder Grant Green from Triple-A Salt Lake to fill in. Los Angeles optioned right-hander Daniel Stange to Salt Lake. Kendrick was injured during the fifth inning of the Angels' 5-2 loss to Texas on Monday night when he landed awkwardly on his left leg while sprinting to catch a tailing popup by Elvis Andrus.
