In a recent column, which can be found at my website, TerrySavage.com, I detailed the importance of opening a 529 college savings account for children or grandchildren, and making regular contributions at holidays or birthdays.
Q: My 2023 GV80 has a lot of bells and whistles and one of them is the engine turning off at stop lights to save gas. I noticed that the feature had stopped working so I took the vehicle back to the dealership. Two hours after my appointment time, it was returned to me with the statement that there was no error code and there were many things that could affect that feature from operating correctly.
Tesla is recalling almost 700,000 vehicles because of an issue with the warning light on the tire pressure monitoring system.
According to a letter Thursday from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall includes certain 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3, and 2020-2025 Model Y vehicles.
The issue is that the tire pressure monitoring system warning light on the vehicles may not remain illuminated between drive cycles, failing to warn the driver of low tire pressure.
